LMS Support Students

Welcome to the GIBS Blackboard Students Support area

The GIBS Digital Learning Solutions team has created a number of helpful resources to enable students new to the world of online learning and the Aspire virtual learning environment to get up to speed with accessing and using the system as quickly as possible. Please take some time to browse through the topics provided and direct other users to this site if they require assistance in a particular area.

We have tried to cover all of the basic aspects of navigating to and within Aspire and are adding updates regularly.

Should you experience any technical issues with Aspire or cannot find help on a particular topic please send an email request to support@gibs.co.za for assistance.  The current hours of operation for the service desk are between 7am and 7pm on weekdays​, and 7am and 1pm on weekends.  There is also a help desk on campus in the Information Centre.
