Key focus areas: 

  • Draw lessons from history (global and local) on advancements made thus far and current status.
  • Practical toolkit leaders can use to navigate obstacles to enhance personal and organisational effectiveness to drive career growth and personal success.
  • Opportunity to engage in dialogue with seasoned business leaders (women and men) who are taking the lead in championing the cause for women advancement in society and the workplace.
  • Inviting women to own their voices and ambition to achieve their aspirations.​

Who should attend?

The programme is best suited for women leaders in mid to senior management positions from all sectors with significant management and decision making responsibilities. The intervention will enhance understanding of the role of women in business and impart skills and strategies required to advance ones career.​

This programme will provide you with cutting-edge knowledge and practical skills to:

  • Develop a better understanding of the macro, organisational and personal challenges women in ascending roles face locally and globally and how to navigate them.
  • Recognising similarities and differences of leadership styles of men and women.
  • Create your personal power strategies and the appropriate use thereof.
  • Be exposed to case studies on best practice within organisations that advance women leaders.
  • Surface the tug of war women face and how they create coping strategies.
Additional information

Cancellation Policy: Delegates who cancel their registration less than 14 days prior to programme commencement, will be liable for 50% of the programme fee, those that cancel their registration 7 days prior to programme commencement will be liable for 75% of the programme fee. Those who do not arrive for the programme will be liable for the full fee. Notification of cancellation must be sent in writing to the Programme Manager. All who cancel or do not attend must return the programme material intact to GIBS​
