COVID-19 has left us all confined to our homes with only a few essential services allowed to operate. President Ramaphosa has just announced that the country will be moving to Level 3 as of 1st of June and most sectors will be returning to full operation and all precautions must still be maintained to ensure minimum exposure to the virus. As businesses gear up to open their doors, certain guidelines must be taken to minimise infection, keep employees safe, and adhere to government regulation.
Return2work, an initiative supported by the Solidarity Foundation, Business Unity South Africa, Harambee, and other partners is a web-based tool to help businesses of all sizes re-open safely and legally, and to stay open. The tool has simple step-by-step guidelines to help companies minimise infections and maximised compliance and help government towards re-opening the economy fully.
