The Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) has retained its dominance in the 2019 Financial Mail ‘SA Top MBAs' annual survey. The rankings place GIBS first in two categories; first choice for graduates, as well as retaining its commanding reputational lead with regard to best overall reputation among employers.
The rankings are run annually by South Africa’s most esteemed weekly business publication, Financial Mail. The publication collected information from over 1 200 MBA graduates and executives from 300 private and public sector companies.
Seventeen business schools whose MBA programmes are accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE), took part in the rankings and were required to provide comprehensive data about their MBAs and associated activities.
“The latest recognition of GIBS by the Financial Mail, along with its excellent standing in the international Financial Times rankings – for both executive education and executive MBA – continues to reinforce the stature of GIBS within the broader business community,” says Dean of GIBS, Professor Nicola Kleyn.
