The 'Leading Women in Business Power Breakfast' in commemoration of Women's Month, facilitated by the Dean of GIBS, Professor Nicola Kleyn.
The breakfast session is an opportunity to find inspiration in the stories of successful women in business. The conversation will focus on business, industry and the economy at large, as well as touch on issues such as gender bias and the empowerment of women.

Busisiwe Mavuso, is the Chief Operations Officer of Business Leadership South Africa and a member of its board since November 2017. She was previously the Managing Director of the Black Management Forum (BMF).
Mandy Wiener, is one of the country’s best known and most credible journalists and authors. Mandy specialises in investigative reporting and legal matters, having extensively covered both the corruption trial of former national police commissioner Jackie Selebi and the Brett Kebble murder trial. She has also earned a reputation for her work exposing South Africa’s ‘Underworld’ reporting extensively on Czech fugitive Radovan Krejcir, Teazers boss Lolly Jackson and other mysterious murders.
Roze Phillips, Group Executive: People and Culture, Absa. Previously, a management consultant with 20 yrs experience, Roze holds a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBChB), a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Cape Town and a postgrad Diploma in Futures Studies from Stellenbosch University Business School. She authored the Accenture report on the "Future World of Work".
Umunyana Rugege, Executive Director at SECTION27, her work focuses on access to healthcare services in the public and private sectors. Umunyana works on health policy development and high impact litigation to help advance the right to healthcare, equality and human dignity.
Gina Schoeman, is the South Africa economist for the Citibank Global Economics team, based in the Johannesburg office now after starting with Citigroup in London in October 2012. Before this, Gina worked at Barclays Capital as Lead Economist on South Africa. Gina has recently been ranked #2 in the Financial Mail local analyst rankings for domestic economics and has consistently ranked #1 in the European Eleonora Fixed Income Survey
