This forum will unpack global market trend data and examine how competition, and financially excluded and underserved market segments are being impacted by the changes unfolding in the financial system.
The most significant transformative force
in financial services today is without a doubt technology. We
are seeing an unprecedented rate of change in the global financial
services sector.
The millennial consumer, with rapidly
changing needs and demands, represents a dramatically changing consumer for
banks. Social media, mobile, data analytics and cloud-based
banking, are all issues which both incumbent financial services providers and
newer entrants need to contend with in a rapidly changing ecosystem. However,
the impact of technology on the provisioning of financial services has been far
from uniform across economies.
