Unpacking Opportunities for South African Companies in India

India and South Africa: Trade and investment partners. Is India the shining light in a dim global economy?

About

In a low-growth and turbulent global economic environment, India proves to be an outlier. The World Bank has projected GDP growth in India at 7.2 % for 2017. This presents significant opportunities for trade and investment for South African companies and its BRICS partner.

Join us as we engage with a panel of key executives and thought leaders on their experiences with doing business in India and the opportunities for South African companies.

This forum will also launch the book "India and South Africa: Trade and Investment Partners". The book provides a context of the bilateral partnership between South Africa and India.

  • Consul General of India, Dr KJ Srinivasa
  • Abdullah Verachia: Senior Faculty,  Gordon Institute of Business Science
  • Professor Govin Reddy: Professor Extraordinary in the Departments of Journalism at Stellenbosch University and former head of the International Marketing Council of South Africa in Mumbai
