About
Recently South Africans have been overwhelmed
by news of corruption, political interference and threats of credit rating
downgrades and further economic instability. Although we are a deeply resilient
nation who has a lot in common and are able to achieve a great deal
working together, sentiment and moral are at an all-time low. As a young
democracy how do we accelerate growth and opportunities to transform lives and
build an ideal future? What is the common purpose we should all rally for in
order to speed up transformation, grow the economy and create a more inclusive
society? Now is the time for brutal self-reflection, mobilisation, collective
thinking and greater responsibility. What is the call to action in our young
democracy?
