The recent tumultuous and historic events in Zimbabwe swiftly ended the 37-year rule of Robert Mugabe and ushered in a new interim president, former vice president and right-hand man to Mugabe, Emmerson Mnangagwa, the man favoured by the military to run Zimbabwe towards the 2018 elections and beyond.

The Zanu-PF stalwart has inherited a bankrupt nation that is suffering from a lack of investor confidence and low levels of foreign direct investment, major cash shortages, unemployment at over 90% and infrastructural decay. Join us to listen to Zimbabwean professionals talk about the deep-seated political and economic challenges and what is needed to start the process of rebuilding the country.
