we invite you to a conversation with Reverend Jesse Jackson and Dr Zweli Mkhize, Minister of Cooperative
Governance and Traditional Affairs.
This lecture will takes us through some of the prominent highlights of the American Civil Rights Movement and the South African
struggle for freedom. It will then address some of the modern day challenges as well as the progress that black people are making in stamping their authority and
excellence across different fields. A celebration of Mama Winnie’s rich life of
activism, the focus will be on black excellence in the past and present.
