Doing Business with Big Brother. How Bad Is It? SMMEs Speak Out

A flourishing SMME sector is vital for entrepreneurship, economic inclusion, and South Africa’s future. Yet this sector is beset by major issues and challenges, including the relationship between big companies and the small and medium-sized businesses that supply them.

The GIBS Ethics Barometer, a groundbreaking initiative in which 30 large SA companies have participated, was more recently extended to the SMME sector. GIBS is about to release a whitepaper with dramatic findings about the experiences and perceptions of SMMEs. Join us as we discuss ethics in the SMME sector and their relationship with big business.
