Cyber Security Trends for 2020

Thanks to ever-developing technology standards, cybersecurity has become a number one priority for businesses and individuals everywhere.

Web and network attackers constantly strive to undermine the protection of company and personal data, making it more of a challenge than ever before for people to stay secure.

Cybercrimes are becoming more frequent and more damaging. As the world becomes increasingly digitised, cybersecurity can no longer be put on the backburner.

Changes are happening as we approach the next decade, and 2020 could have more cybersecurity challenges in store. So what are some of these potential cyber threats, and how can businesses equip themselves to prepare for them?

Join GIBS in association with the Institute of Advanced Cyber Defence as we take a look at the cybersecurity trends we believe will impact both businesses and consumers in 2020, and how corporate and individuals can safeguard themselves again them.

Speakers confirmed to date:

Brett Kilpatrick is the head of the Institute of Advanced Cyber Defence, working with businesses and individuals to advance both the quantity and quality of knowledge and skills in the domain of cyber intelligence and security.  Brett also heads up the business-to-business division for iStore, South Africa. He completed his MBA at GIBS in 2012, alongside a number of Executive Development programmes in Strategy and Leadership.
