Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng

In Conversation with Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng.

How do we speak truth to power? How do we fight corruption? How do we secure social justice? What does active citizenship mean and what responsibility does it demand of all South Africans? Join the Ethics and Governance Think Tank for a conversation with the Chief Justice of South Africa Mogoeng Mogoeng.

Mogoeng Thomas Reetsang Mogoeng was born in 1961, and is the fourth chief justice of the Republic of South Africa, having assumed office on 8 September, 2011. Through his exemplary leadership of the judicial branch of government, he has steadfastly advanced the constitutional values of human dignity, equality and freedom; non-racialism and non-sexism; and the supremacy of the Constitution and the Rule of Law.
