Business relevance in a digital world via
awesome human employee experiences.
The
link between employee experience and innovation, and ultimately business
relevance is undeniable, yet many business leaders choose to stick their heads
in the sand regarding the human element of business. They do not know how to
handle the proverbial ‘soft’ stuff, and so they choose to focus exclusively on
the more easily quantifiable deliverables such as financials, production, etc.
What
they miss is the fact that the human beings that they are ‘leading’ to meet
these objectives are either being switched on or switched off, and the degree
to which this is happening is directly linked to the organisation’s ability to
deliver on these required outputs.
Brad
Shorkend and Andy Golding are the co-founders of Still Human and the authors of
We Are Still Human (and work shouldn’t suck!). They help businesses around the
world remain relevant by creating exceptional employee experiences and always being
innovation-ready.
In
this presentation they will share their learnings from interviewing the leaders
of some of the world's best companies to work at.
They
will reveal the strategies and techniques that leaders, human resource
practitioners, and people at all levels of the organisation need to be applying to
build businesses fit for human beings in a digital crazy world.
They
will also connect the dots between employee experience, innovation readiness
and relevance, which is an often overlooked lens that businesses cannot afford to
ignore.
