Economic growth is effected through the infusion of new ideas, and entrepreneurs – whether in a corporate setting or as start-up founders, are the catalysts for these ideas. Entrepreneurs play a role in economic revitalization and strategic renewal throughout the world. This course helps to bridge the gap between theory and practice by providing practical and useful tools, approaches and insights in order for aspiring entrepreneurs to conceptualise and launch their new venture.
The course will equip participants with the mindset and understanding to understand and manage the formation of new ventures, while developing an appreciation for the challenges and opportunities of innovation-driven entrepreneurship.
'Now more than ever, the skills associated with being an entrepreneur are relevant and necessary. During and post covid-19, we are and will continue to see a growth in self-employment and the launch of entrepreneurial ventures. Having the right partner to guide you on thus journey will be e necessary precondition to success'. Dr Jonathan Marks, Course Lead Faculty.
