GIBS academic programmes are fully operational online at the moment via a blend of synchronous (online face to face) and asynchronous (in your own time) learning methods. We are managing admissions on the view that the 2021 intake will return to classroom based learning. If not, we will fall back to our current mode of operation.
The aim of this programme is to equip students to systematically engage with evidence and prior knowledge in order to explore the research-practice gap. This aim is aligned with the mission of GIBS, which is to improve individual and organisational performance within the continent through high-quality business and management education.
The Master of Philosophy in Evidence-Based Management is a specialised postgraduate studies programme that will enable you to identify, critically assess and interpret a business problem and, using an evidence-based approach, improve the quality of managerial decision-making. In addition, organisations and managers should be able to easily understand and implement these credible principles.
This is a research-intensive course that focuses on closing the Research-Practice gap.
