Silas professional career started within the Market Research space, before making a switch to classical Marketing career. His brings vast experience, spanning more than 15 years, across diverse industries and categories within both the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Service areas. 

Upon completion of his MBA, Silas joined Gibs as part time faculty, and has been with Gibs since 2012.

Significant Achievements
  • Twice presented winning papers at the South African marketing Research – concentrating of Cross Cultural Marketing and Insight Led Brand (Equity) Building.
  • As Marketing head of Pesticides – the brand garnered multiple advertising awards, including the Lories award for creativity, and nomination for the coveted Cannes award.
