Through our internationalisation strategy, we strive to achieve global recognition enabled by international academic partnerships and a global scholarly community, to serve our student and alumni body through academic, social, corporate and digital education. We aspire to strengthen our global impact through six dimensions, namely: thought leadership; profile and reputation; faculty and staff; teaching and learning; institutional partnerships; and students and alumni.

As an internationally recognised and ranked business school, GIBS holds multi-purpose partnerships with a wide network of academic thought-leaders, associations, business schools and corporations. We aim to optimise our mission-specific collaboration to promote performance excellence in Africa.
Central to GIBS’ institutional partnerships, is the strategy to develop the School as one of the leading business schools on the African continent. Through our partnerships we support the development of international thought-leadership, faculty and student exchanges, joint programmes and staff development. GIBS also holds several project-specific partnerships with multiple universities and international businesses. We have hosted multiple groups from the USA, the UK and Europe as well as the rest of Africa. Our students have visited many countries and our digital education team enables online programmes to be delivered wherever they are needed.
We partner with business schools and universities who share our passion for African excellence.
