Finance Executive Development Programme

The inaugural GIBS Finance Executive Development Programme (FEDP) aims to expose senior executives to cutting edge thought leadership and the latest developments in global finance and banking, in the world’s finance centre, London. The FEDP will provide an intensive experience and a broad overview of the state of global financial markets, instruments and thinking as we enter a new paradigm and chart a new course.

Objectives

The FEDP aims to provide a high-level thought leadership experience, closely attuned to the latest developments in global finance and banking, in the world’s finance centre, London. The programme provides delegates with a unique opportunity to align their strategy to successful implementation as measured against key objectives, on their return to their organisations.

Faculty

World-class faculty and guest speakers who are leaders in their particular fields will combine to offer a distinctly unique and challenging experience.

Target Audience

The FEDP is aimed at senior finance and banking executives and leaders in a position to influence and advance their businesses in an international context, potential investors looking to evaluate opportunities outside Africa, and business professionals looking to gain an improved understanding of the key factors underlying modern financial decision-making.

Potential delegates could be working in the following business areas: treasury and finance departments of corporations, investment and retail banks, insurance companies and asset management firms.

Admission Requirements

Admission is selective and based on professional achievement and organisational responsibility. No formal education qualifications are required, but an interview may be necessary as part of the selection process. The admissions committee reserves the right to accept only those applicants who are likely to benefit from the programme and are able to make a full contribution to group activities. Qualified candidates are admitted on a rolling, space-available basis.
