The faculty on the Certificate in Entrepreneurship comprise of both full-time GIBS faculty members, as well as adjunct faculty members who are successful entrepreneurs in their chosen field.  The experienced group of faculty members are specififcally chosen to present a mixture of theory, case studies and practical content in their subject areas
.

Some of the faculty teaching on the Certificate in Entrepreneurship include:


Dr Alex Antonites
 
is a senior lecturer in the Department of Business Management, Chair for Entrepreneurship, at the University of Pretoria. He specialises in the field of entrepreneurship and small business development with a specific focus on the pre-entrepreneurial phase concerning creativity, innovation and opportunity finding. His model on entrepreneurial creativity, innovation and opportunity finding (CIO) won an international award within the entrepreneurship education environment.

 


Gareth Rees
worked at Deloitte for a period of 11 years and was made a partner in the financial services audit team.  He left Deloitte in 2008 to take up the position of CFO, Private Equity Division of Brait.  Gareth obtained corporate and asset management experience during his 18 months at Brait.  He recently moved on from Brait in order to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities.  He holds an Entrepreneurship MBA from GIBS.



Luisa Mazinter holds an MBA from GIBS and is CEO of TheMarketingSite (Pty) Ltd and CUBE ON THE SQUARE (Pty) Ltd., a strategic marketing consultancy specialising in marketing and eBusiness strategy development. She is an adjunct faculty member at GIBS. 


Dr Thabo Mosala holds a PhD in Banking and Finance from Rushmore University.  He is the founder of WrenJos Consulting offereing management consulting and advisory services specialising in streategy formulation for business development and growth, business simulation, financial services, business process improvement, information technology and research.  He lectures in the areas of finance, strategy managment, banking, information systems and leadership.
