programme outlineThe Certificate in Finance programme is structured into four study blocks comprising of three modules per block spaced over six to seven months (April till October). As a student on the Certificate in Finance programme you will be required to attend a number of on-campus learning experiences. Each session will require preparation that you will undertake individually or in groups. For the remainder of the programme you will be preparing, studying, undertaking syndicate work and conducting your own research.
The Certificate in Finance comprises the following modules:
- Group dynamics
- Industry analysis
- Financial statements analysis
- Ratio analysis
- Budgets, forecasting and growth
- Management decision making tools
- Cash flows and time value of money
- Investment decisions
- Financing decisions
- Valuation and business performance
- Business simulation.
