PCs, Printers and Copiers The Information has 16 Windows' and two Mac workstation available for students to use. The workstations are loaded with Internet Explorer, MS Office and Adobe Reader.
All 16 Windows workstations are link to three self-service printer/copier machines (only black and white). A payment card is required, to access print or copy jobs. Cards can be bought from the Information Centre's front desk. An once-off initial fee of R5 is charged for the card. Thereafter, the card can be loaded with the following denominations - R10, R25, R50 and R100. Print outs and copies are charged at 50c per page. Colour print outs and copies can be made in the Copy Centre, East block.
When making photocopies, adhere to the SA Copyright Act 98 of 1978. Violation of the Copyright Law at self-service machines is the responsibility of the user.
Students are welcome to bring and use their own laptops - all study tables have power points.
The Information Centre, as well as the whole campus, is on the wireless network.
