MBA Global Module
If you never followed our MBA's whilst they were away, here's a chance for you to see what they got up to on their Global Module.
Last year, over 200 MBA students visited seven destinations, including Japan, China, India, the UK and Netherlands, Brazil and the east and west coasts of the United States of America.
They experienced a varied programme including visits to best practice companies, lectures from top international faculty and business school visits; they also had time for cultural activities and fun!
Highlights for those visiting the east coast of the US were Wall street and Harvard Business School, while those on the west coast caught up with what’s on in the world of Microsoft and Boeing.
Brazil was a particularly interesting destination for the MBAs as it’s one of the BRIC countries, and shares similarities with SA’s economy.
For those interested in finance, the world’s financial capital, London, was an obvious destination while the European leg provided an interesting post-recession visit.
The sheer scale of India and China, and their vast populations and formidable growth rates, make them invaluable destinations and Japan’s mature economy continues to provide best practice teachings for any emerging market.
Today, technology gives us many ways in which we can share their experiences with you in real time while they are abroad.
