As “the business school for business”, GIBS frequently draws on the expertise of leading business people from both the corporate and entrepreneurial environments to complement its full-time teaching faculty.

Dr Dennis Cohen
Dennis Cohen is a senior consultant with SMG, Inc. leading its Project Leadership Practice.
He has co-authored a chapter on the politics of project implementation in the book Project Management As If People Mattered by Robert J. Graham. He and Dr Graham are co-authors of the book, The Project Manager’s MBA and Beyond Triple Constraints: Developing a Business Venture Approach to Project Management, in H.A. Levine Project Portfolio Management.
Dennis has worked with a variety of global organisations around the world. Before joining SMG, he was a Research Associate at the Management and Behavioural Science Centre of The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and a Senior Fellow with the Wharton Centre for Applied Research. He has been Adjunct Assistant Professor of Management for the Wharton School. Dennis holds a BA and MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, an MA and PhD from the University of Wisconsin, and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business.
Dr Keith Goodall

Keith Goodall received his PhD from Cambridge University, where he is currently a Senior Associate at the Judge Business School and a Senior Member of Wolfson College. He has taught on the Cambridge MBA for the past nine years. He also regularly contributes to senior executive development courses at Cambridge University.
Goodall also holds a lectureship in Organisational Behaviour at CEIBS - a European Union-funded Business School in Shanghai - and has taught on MBA and executive development programmes there since 1990.
He has twice received the CEIBS Outstanding Teacher of the Year award.

Keith has carried out training and consultancy work with companies including BP, PowerGen, IBM, Rohde & Schwarz, Siemens, Schering, Shell, ABB, Hewlett Packard, BASF, Rhone Poulenc, Honeywell, L'Oreal, Lufthansa, Maersk, GE, Deutsche Bank, and the Italian oil company ENI. Much of this work has been in the areas of leadership, teamwork, cross-cultural management, and strategic human-resource management.
Keith has worked and researched in a number of countries, including China, Colombia, Australia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Germany, Italy, Tunisia, and France.
Current research interests include leadership in transitional economies, the management of multinational organisations, human resource management and intercultural management. He has published a series of articles looking at human resource issues in China in both domestic and foreign invested enterprises, and has advised several major Chinese companies on managing change. His work his appeared in academic journals such as Organization Studies, Journal of World Business, International Journal of Human Resource Management, and the Asia Pacific Business Review. His most recent publications analyse leadership and management in multinational organisations and MBA education in China.
Dr David Hillson

David Hillson has an international reputation as a leading thinker and practitioner in strategic risk management – turning uncertainty into competitive advantage. Known worldwide as the Risk Doctor, David has an enviable track record in the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of uncertainty, both its threats to business health and its opportunities for business growth.
David is the author of four books, a Director of Risk Doctor & Partners, Fellow of the UK Institute of Risk Management, Fellow of the UK Association for Project Management and holds the Distinguished Contribution Award from the Project Management Institute for his work in developing risk management over many years.
